This was the seventh consecutive year that cartoonist Eldon Dedini, of
Esquire
,
New Yorker
, and
Playboy
note, created the artwork for the Concours poster. This image is absolutely classic Dedini style, with a flamboyant couple and stylized cars— an early Packard, a Rolls-Royce, and a Mercer Raceabout.
Poster measures 23" x 35” (59 cm x 90 cm). Screen printed on heavy, porous stock. In excellent vintage condition with few flaws, notably a small bit of foxing near the Mercer in the lower part of the poster; a short, soft crease coming up vertically from the lower edge; s softly bumped lower left corner; and a faint pressure line near the upper right corner.
