This is a rare original Production Cel from Mickey's 60th Birthday, featuring Mickey Mouse reviving his role as the Sorcerer's Apprentice from Fantasia, in the classic The Magical World of Disney TV special commemorating his 60th birthday. It is an amazing hand-painted full-figure image of Mickey with sorcerer's hat and broom. It is a 12 field cel that bears The Walt Disney Company seal in the lower right corner, and comes in a 17" x 15" mat with an 11" x 9" window opening. It is already matted, so it is all set to be framed. The piece comes with not one, but TWO, COA's! There is a Disney Certificate of Authenticity on white "pebbled" high-quality paper, which measures approximately 8 1/2" by 11" and is in very good condition, with some minor general handling wear. There is also a Disneyana Certificate of Authenticity on regular thin colored paper stock which measures approximately 8" by 8" and has a 2" crease fold line near the top left corner. This is an outstanding rare vintage piece of Disneyana magic, and a magnificent example to own featuring their most famous and most iconic character. It would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed, and would be a key addition to any collection.
