Absolutely fantastic poster promoting RM Auctions' Brucker Brothers Kustom Culture Collection auction at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles. The special sale was a first-ever public offering of a cache of famed artwork and memorabilia from the most influential Kustom Kulture artists of the 20th century, including icons Von Dutch, Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, Robert Williams and others. More than 500 unique and original lots from the collection of brothers, Jimmy and Danny Brucker, were offered that day.
The poster is an homage to the art of the three icons—Von Dutch's Flying Eyeball, Roth's Rat Fink, and Williams' dark, futuristic animation style—replete with pin-striping around the edges. It is richly rendered on a substantial semi-gloss stock.
Poster measures 26" x 38" (67cm x 98cm).
A rare find in excellent condition with a bright, clean, unmarked print surface and sharp corners and edges.
