ABOUT:
The AD&D / Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Core Rules 2.0 (expansion included, not pictured) is out-of-print Windows software that contains a set of tools and books for the 2.0 ruleset. It includes the following:
DM TOOLS:
NPC Generator, Monster & Encounters Generator, Treasure Generator, Custom Powers, Races, Spells Generators, a General Data Editor, and Table Rolls (for example, roll a random ring).
MAPMAKING:
Two mapmaking tools, Map Maker & Campaign Cartographer.
22 BOOKS:
Player's Handbook, DM Guide, Monstrous Manual, Arms & Equipment Guide, Tome of Magic, DM Option: High-Level Campaigns, Player's Option: Combat & Tactics, Player's Option: Skills & Powers, Player's Option: Spells & Magic. The expansion disc (included, not pictured) adds race books for Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, and Halflings, plus eight class books. I also include a patch to add a ninth class book, for the Necromancer class.
OTHER:
Character Creator (with ability to print multi-page character sheets), Dice Roller.
CONDITION:
I professionally renew each disc with the best-in-industry resurfacer, leaving it brilliantly clean and free or nearly free of marks. I then re-case the discs into a new CD case with original rear art. It will arrive in handsome renewed condition, suitable for a gift.
BONUS COMPATIBILITY GUIDE:
The software works well in Windows 11, 10, 8 and 7 once installed properly. I include an easy install guide that will get you past three compatibility issues:
Certain pre-installed programs can block the software's installer.
The software must be installed a specific way so it can access its databases.
The Campaign Mapper can sometimes fail to install; if it does, I include instructions for fixing this.
