Great early piece manufactured and stamped by SHREVE & CO. 14k of SAN FRANCISCO.
The match safe is all original with minor dents here and there only noted for accuracy, but nothing distracting.
SOLID 14k GOLD as stamped.
2/3 of a Troy ounce OR 20.3 grams.
NOTE we do not list these treasures on eBay to get the gold value or less; however we tend to price VERY reasonably considering that he amount of gold in the item versus its antique value. There is currently around 0 worth of scrap gold in this beautiful heirloom.
