antique 1928 Bloch figural gilt bronze iron ornate match safe holder table stand

Up for sale is a wonderful antique ornate figural table match holder made in 1928 by Bloch & Co.
the beautifully cast shaft is made of a thick gold gilded bronze with ornate detailing throughout and has acquired a lovely patina from age.
it has a mounted match figural match holder in the shape of a treasure chest held by a detailed pirate.
it's marked in the backside by maker and there is an ornate handle at the top for carrying.
the piece is overall in nice used condition and measures 24 inches tall by 5 1/2 inches wide.
