    Description

    Early 1900's rare whisky advertising match safe.  Celluloid wrap over metal with a striker on the bottom.  Features a horse and rider with "First Over the Bars Hunter Baltimore Rye" on one side and a whiskey bottle that reads "Hunter Baltimore Rye Bottled by WM Lanahan & Son, Baltimore" on the other.  Marked along one edge "The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, NJ".
    Antique item in good overall condition with vintage patina and tarnish, a strong hinge, and no dents or breaks.  Please see photos.
