Antique Art Nouveau Embossed Flip Top Match Safe Vesta Case (German?) Silver VGC

Description

This antique match safe/vesta case is in very good condition, with minor wear. It could use a little more cleaning, if desired. There are a couple very minor dings, but no dents or bends, and the flip top has great spring action. It came with old matches, which are included. They flare, but the igniter material is too old to strike. It is marked 'G Silver', which I assume is German silver. It is not plated, and is non-magnetic. It is 2-3/4" tall, and 1-1/2" wide.
