    Antique Brass Horse Head Match Holder Strike European Marble Base Sculpture 1900
    DESCRIPTION
    Antique 19th century French or English match holder and striker. Designed in high relief as a horses head this intricate brass match holder is mounted on a magenta colored marble plinth. The head of the horse is hinged on the neck which opens up to reveal a chamber for the matches and a small strike plate. Dating to the late 19th or early 20th century this table top art piece is the perfect balance of aesthetic an practical. This could be used as a match holder or tooth pick holder on a dining room table.
    These would make a great addition to any equestrian sculpture collection or as a gift for a housewarming.
    MEASUREMENTS
    Horse head sculpture measures 5" tall by 4.75" wide by 5.5" deep and weighs 2lb 9oz.
    CONDITION
