A unique combination of rare metal craft including what appears to be repose, pierced metalwork, high relief metal casting, and detailed chased engraving.
There are 2 compartments separated by what appears to be a match striker surface.  Perhaps once used as a tinder box since 2 compartments would separate steel and tinder if so desired which was common practice for the period.
Approx. measurements are 2.75" wide by 1" deep by .50" tall
