A rare, figural match safe in the shape of a sitting Kewpie Doll.
German, ca. 1906 - 1915.
Brass body with striking surface on flat bottom, which opens for the match compartment.
Height: ca. 1 5/8 inches (ca. 4 cm.).
Marked on side: U.S. PAT, Oct. 6, '06 (or '08), D.R.G.M.
Very fine used condition, with a couple of very small dents.
Has original suspension loop for attachment to a pocket watch chain.
