    Description

    Up for auction is a beautiful porcelain match which was undoubtedly made in Germany.  It came with a short note which said: "Ira Graybill born 1876.  Received when very young."  The underside has the number 638 incised on it.  This charming little child who is wearing a yellow bonnet is holding a clock up to his/her ear and listening to see if it is working.  I don't see any chips or cracks or any issue with this piece.  The base measures 3 5/8" x 2 3/4".  It measures 3 3/4" in height.
