ANTIQUE SILVER METAL & VARIEGATED AGATE MATCH SAFE VESTA w/AGATE STRIKER ON LID
This match safe comes from an estate sale that included a huge collection of rare antique match safes and holders.  This polished agate sides are in good condition with no cracks or chips.  Also, no obvious signs of wear.  There is agate decorating the top of the lid which appears to double as a striker since that lid shows signs of wear from striking it.
Measures approximately 2-5/8 in. x 1 in.
Scratch on bottom of safe in the metal.
See photos for details.  No maker's marks and the original date it was crafted has not been determined.  Last photo is of the item held up against a light to show that the light shines through the agate.
