Original Antique Match Safe - early 1900s
Wood matches were stored in the "safe" on left side, struck on the right side and after use then deposited (after being extinguished!) in tray on right side.
1913 - Over 100 years old!
Bartow Bank promotional item. Recovered from the original bank building.

Lids open and close. Black in color with a little rust. Excellent condition for age!
Nice poem reads:
“Dimes are young dollars. Plant them in this bank and watch them grow. Bartow Bank, Bartow, GA
Limited number remaining. All match boxes are in similar condition to the one pictured.
