Argos is one of the Hyborian kingdoms that rose out of the ashes of Acheron when it fell three thousand years ago. With a command of the sea and the trade-routes, Argos has become a wealthy kingdom. It is wealthy enough to be able to raise armies for war or to hire assassins, spies and diplomats for its own brand of intrigue and subterfuge involving other kingdoms. Zingara is a land torn apart and ruined by civil war. The kingdom is faltering, unable to support itself due to burnt and salted fields, destroyed armies and crushed castles. The ghouls of the central region have begun to prowl all over the land, even in the north, toward the Poitanian border. This book is intended to give Payers and Games Masters of Conan the Roleplaying Game alike the resources to bring the maritime worlds of Argos and Zingara to life. Hello fellow role playing enthusiast. I have been playing Dungeon's and Dragon's since 1976 and have played each version extensively. Since I first read Andre Norton's "Quag Keep", I have been scouting ahead in dungeon crawls, hurling fireballs, casting illusions, saving damsel's in distress, praying to the gods for aide and seeking a truly lawful and ordered society. As a dungeon master I am true to Gary Gygax's original teachings and have DM'd in Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, Dark Sun and a few other settings of my own creation. I am a recovering addict of Dark Ages of Camelot and have played Witcher, Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter's Night, Torment, Icewind Dale, Morrowind and Oblivion. I have dabbled in Magic the Gathering, Warhammer, Bloodbowl, Munchkin, Paranoia and am an avid board gamer as well.
