    Description

    An authenic traditional hand woven basket/bowl made by the Zulu tribe in South Africa. It is 6.75" at the widest diameter and 3.25" deep and woven with palm in a coil weave. The zig zag design is pink, black and ivory and the bottom is a light brown color. The Zulu's use natural plant dyes to make the colors. It was purchased in South Africa between 2008-2010. It has the original paper tag with the artist name, price and indicates this type of basket was traditionally used to hold small portions of nuts, grains & pulses. It has been stored away from light and never used.
