Classic Walt Disney Art Editions by Saturday's Toys presents... a vintage full color brochure celebrating the release of the immortal Carl Barks creation, "Golden Fleece."
The original work by Carl Barks was based on a moment from the December 1956 comic (Uncle Scrooge #12), The Golden Fleecing. Bark's finished painting of "Golden Fleece" was completed in May 1972. This represented the first time that Disney had released an original Carl Barks original oil painting in their new serigraph series for Disney Art Editions. Created as a 96 color serigraph. That release is pictured in this elegantly produced brochure printed to the highest standards on cardstock with an eggshell matte finish.
The full color release is pictured inside the rare brochure; suitable for framing; approx. 4.5" x 9"
Cover measures 8" x 9"; with folds, as shown. Includes text describing the work in progress, as well as detail on the legendary career of Carl Barks.
