Cinderella Disney Cel signed Ilene Wood
The 1st Cinderella Sericel ever made from 1988.
This is the best scene in the movie when Cinderella's Dreams finally come true! As she's given this most beautiful dress. This Beautiful cel was created by Walt Disney imagineering in the late 1980s' for sale in the Newly opened Disney Stores. Edition size was limited to only 1000 pieces. Cinderella is painted on the clear, see through cel. Cel size 14 x 11 inches with a Disney seal in the right corner

Custom created background, just for this piece.
This piece was issued and sold by Disney without a background. Piece was simply mounted over a white matt-board background. Toon-city has gone to the extra expense to digitally create a NEW photograph background for THIS piece  (sliding it behind the cel, much like how it was done during production). The background is printed on high-quality photographic paper from a professional photo-lab. STUNNINGLY it looks exactly like the background from this magical scene in the movie when the fairy godmother creates Cindy's Ball Gown. Cel features the pixie-dust effect that is unique to this piece.

She was an American actress. Walt Disney heard Ilene's voice on a tape, and two days later asked Ilene to voice the star role of Cinderella set for release in 1950. She gladly accepted the role, surprised by the fact that she was auditioning, and had won against more than 300 other auditioning girls. She only saw Walt Disney after finishing work on Cinderella. She said in a recent interview for Classic film, "Seeing it [the film] in its new form was breathtaking for me. It's so beautiful. The color is magnificent, it just took my breath away, it was so wonderful. I sort of forget when I'm watching the movie that I had anything to do with it. Yet, it brings back so many beautiful memories of working with the wonderful artists and working with Walt mostly. It brings back wonderful, wonderful memories." Generally "Cinderella" is considered by many Animation Art experts to be the film that SAVED the studio from Bankruptcy after the tough economic times of WWII. In 2003, she was awarded a Disney Legends award for her voice work on the film Cinderella. Her most recent film appearance was Cassie in Touched By An Angel as a night nurse.
