Disney Beauty and the Beast Belle Ball Room Dancing scene hand painted cel limited edition number 4 of 500 with certificate of authentication. Will be packed and shipped via UPS.
This is one of a series of selected limited-edition, hand-painted reproductions of original artwork from Disney animated films.
No production cels were created in the making of the film, thus Disney artists have recreated the artwork from the film using traditional animation techniques. Original animation drawings were transferred to acetate "cels" by a special six-step xerographic process. The cels were also enhanced with hand-inked lines and airbrush effects. Disney artists then hand-painted each of the cels in the edition with Disney-approved acrylic colors.
This was bought at the Disney store in San Francisco as you can see from the tag in the photo. I bought it for 00. It is in the original frame, properly mounted, and protected. Though the pictures will show some damage to the frame the artwork itself is in pristine condition. Some photos will show a little bit of glare off the front protective layer that I tried furiously to eliminate but Ansel Adams I am not.
