. This is a must have for any Disney collector. This limited edition was produced in 1992. Cel size is 11 x 14 inches, the edition is comprised of 2,500 serigraph cels and 100 publisher's proofs, for a total maximum of 2,600 serigraph cels.

All hand signed at a in-person signing. Great to have the signature ON THE CEL, rather than the matting.
BONUS:
Custom Background! Disney originally issued this piece without a background. Piece was simply mounted over a white matt-board background. That wasn't good enough for us, so we paid a former Disney background painter to paint a background that would match-up exactly to this cel. As you can see the, the cel has a lined-background printed on the cel (coconut tree on the right and  a vine on the left.) So the background colors has to line up with those lined images. As you can see by the close-up it's PERFECT.

What is a sericel?
A Sericel
is a serigraphy process that involves silk-screening each individual color to the cel, one at a time. Every distinct shade is a separate screen, and a separate pass in the procedure. As a result of this fine art operation, each color is flawlessly reproduced. Sericels are also created in limited quantities, typically 2500 to 5000 pieces and sometimes even 9500. Because of their larger edition size, sericels are the most affordable type of animation art, ideal for the beginning collector. The word Sericel is a contraction of Seri-graphed Cel.
