This is an authentic Vintage 1970's Bedknobs & Broomsticks Disney Production Animation Cell of OSTRICH…….Used in the original making of 1971 Bedknobs and broomsticks.
The cell measures 11”high x 15”wide, (it could be larger but I cannot see it under the matting) the framed piece measures 16 ” high x 20 “wide. The original label is on the back.Along with certificate of authenticity dated April 13, 1979 that includes a registration number. There is also a Walt Disney production certified stamp on the front signed you can also see this in the picture
Gold metal frame has is in good condition.Double matting.
Note concerning lamination: Disney laminated the original cel art in an effort to preserve the integrity of the paint used in production. The lamination process was later found to cause color leaching, creasing, and cracks due to the effects of temperature and humidity. This collection of cel art has creases branching out from either sides of the ostrich body see photos for a visual. The paint is in good Condition No rips, tears, or holes.
Has some residue from Someone putting tape on the cell ( very tip edge NOT on any of the paint )most likely the original owner you can see photos that show it.
