    Description

Sorry but I can't remember what Hollywood area Estate Sale I purchased this at. I am not expert at this. In order to establish if it was a print or a drawing I searched on line for another thinking that if it was a print there would likely be more than 1 on line. After quite a bit of searching I found another Don Williams sketch on Worthpoint which was titled "the Fab Five". If you search- ART SKETCH DISNEY FAB 5 SIGNED DON WILLIAMS 81/2 X 11 you should find it. It reads- "
This is an original signed sketch of Disney's Fab Five by Don Williams. The piece is from sometime between 1992 and 2005. Has been kept in original envelope, never been displayed. Measures 8 1/2" x 11 ". Sketched with charcoal grey pencil and blue on ivory/cream. Wonderful piece for any Disney fan or collector.
    "
I don't know what it sold for as I'm not a member of worthpoint. That drawing seems to be an earlier version of this one. It is very close but there are numerous differences.
Goofy doesn’t have a bat. Mickey & Pluto aren’t wearing  hats. Donald & Goofy’s hats are different & Donald is looking in a different direction. The tip of Plutos tail is different etc.
Then I saw that Worthpoint also listed what appears to be exact copy of the sketch which they called a print. It is an exact copy of the one they called an Art sketch & not the one I am listing. They call the art sketch "signed". They don't say that about the print. The signature at the bottom right on all 3 (including mine) seem to be exactly the same. There is also a Disney
    copy-write
on the bottom left of all 3.
Anyway since I didn't find another of my version on line.  I decided to try to erase something. I imagine it is easier to erase a drawing than a print so if you look at the last 2 pix you'll see in the 2nd to last picture, above the end /tip of Pluto' tail are 2 very light blue lines. Not easy to see but they are there. In the last picture you can see I mostly erased them. So hopefully I erased pencil  from an original drawing as opposed to removed part of the print. The signature on the lower right I'm pretty positive is a copy. The one in marker I'm pretty positive is not.
If you decided it was worth reading all this, now you know what I know & hopefully combined with your knowledge you'll know more than I know. I'm leaning toward this being an original but unless you want me to try erasing something else I'm still not positive if it is original art or a print. Even if it is just a print I couldn't find another, just like it, anywhere on line.
It is not in a frame. It is covered with the Ivory cardboard rectangular rim taped on & I have additional backing and the additional black cardboard rim (not taped on) & which will be included.
