Disney's Pinocchio, Animation Cels (1979 Limited edition)

Description

This rare set of 4, limited edition, hand painted cels, recreates original artwork used in the production of the 1940 Walt Disney animated movie, Pinocchio. The set was produced in 1979 and is number 27 of 275. The cels have been framed under glass (as recommended) for their protection, and come with the original folio.  They are in excellent condition. Not sold individually.
The characters and pose on each cel were carefully selected to best represent the action in the sequence in which they appeared:
Sequence 1.1, Scene 44 - Geppetto and Pinocchio
Sequence 3, Scene 17 - Foulfellow and Pinocchio
Sequence 1.6, Scene 1.9 - Jiminy Cricket and Pinocchio
Sequence 4.2, Scene 22 - Pinocchio and Dutch girl Puppet
They were originally purchased from the Disneyana Shop in Disneyland on December 13, 1979 (see images for detail).
