"Donald's Penguin" is a limited edition of 250 cel set ups from the Disney Classic Animated Short
Donald's Penguin

It is a selected limited edition, hand-painted re-creation of the original artwork created especially for Walt Disney
Company employees.
The artists of the Walt Disney Studios Ink & Paint Department have re-created the artwork from
Donald's Penguin
using traditional ink and paint techniques. The original drawings were transferred to polyester cels by a special six step
xerographic process. Each cel in the edition was hand-painted with Disney approved acrylic colors.
The background scene for this cel has been faithfully reproduced from the original production background on premium
presentation matte paper using an Epson Stylus Pro 4900 printer.
This re-created cel set up is based on original artwork from Scene 12 of
Donald's Penguin
animated by
Fred Spencer. The arrival of a mischievous baby penguin named Tootsie finds Donald running the gamut from
amusement to anger when Tootsie eyes his pet goldfish as a potential snack.
This limited edition was produced in 2015 and is comprised of a general edition of 250, numbered 1/250 to 250/250
