    Description

    For bid in this auction is a very unusual purse that is called a Sweetheart Purse as it was designed for a soldier to send to his sweetheart while he was away.   I am not sure of the exact date but I believe it to be late 40's or early 50's.  Other than the white stripes in the flag being a little less than stark white it is in excellent condition.  The flag is a 48 star flag.   It is in the original box.  The closed purse measures 10" x  7 1/2".  Buyer to pay USPS Priority postage.  I ONLY SHIP TO USA.   Feel free to email me with any questions.
