    . This background was sold as lot 581 in the June 10, 1995 Sotheby's animation art auction. In it we see a moonlit Manhattan rooftop, replete with stone gargoyles...Goliath and Lexington hiding among them. The Pack just climbed up to the roof via a fire escape in hot pursuit. They are about to experience the fight of their lives...
    Disney stopped selling original production art years ago, and Gargoyles animation art is scarce. Original backgrounds are especially difficult to locate, as just a few hundred were ever released. The Sotheby's June 1995 animation art auction contained 40 of the most desirable Gargoyles production setups, and this background was one of them. Gargoyles is now on Disney+, and the setup can be seen at the 17:25 mark of the episode.
