How to make the car last longer, especially wear parts. On page 37, regarding tires, “as this book goes to press, it looks like you won’t be able to buy any new casings or any new tubes for a long time” since rubber was all going to the war effort, so it suggests, in an era of tire theft, don’t leave your car out at night and record the serial numbers on the tires, or brand your initials in the whitewalls, a service many dealers were starting to provide. Tiny top edge stain affecting the last 3 sheets, and tiny front edge stain affecting inside front cover and 3 sheets in the front, some light front cover soiling (less evident than the photo shows), otherwise in excellent condition.
