    Classic baluster with repoussed swirling leaf and vine with satin surface detail.
    Cover with original flower and leaf finial secured by original hand cut fastener.
    Cast rolled vine thumb piece
    double scroll handle.
    This rare mid-19th century Indian sterling silver
    tankard is 9 inches and 26 1/2 (standard) ounces.
    Hallmarked as shown.
    The identical mark illustrated pg. 34 Wilkinson.
    In very fine condition.
    Lustreous sterling patina throughout.
    Retains original hand raised detail.
