Second issue of our “Édition Signature“series!
In the ancient world, the owl was intimately connected with the goddess of wisdom Athena.
Since the 6th century B.C., the Greek mintmasters have depicted the owl on their famous tetradrachm. Our interpretation of the owl, however, is quite different. This unique set consists of two 5 oz. High relief coins in antique finish with four different applications.
For the first time, we use enamel and black lacquer on the eyes of the right facing owl, in addition to the goldplating and white rhodium finish on the second coin. The impression of both coins is almost true-to-life.
