    Lot of two very interesting boxes safety matches!
    Three Stars Safety Match box size, approximately: 2" long x 1 1/4" wide x 1/2" tall
    Made by Jonkoping - Vulcan Co., Jonkoping, Sweden
    Box is almost full of wooden matches
    Independence Safety Match box size, approximately: 2" long x 1 1/4" wide x 5/8" tall
    Made by Diamond Match Division, Diamond National Corp, New York, NY
    Box states: Reg US Patent OFF, Made in U.S.A.

    Three Stars box in great condition, just a little age in the coloring & a few stains, includes wooden matches. Striker side panes show slight wear.
    Independence box shows wear, has a folded lower left-corner, and a small piece of the paper cover is missing in the upper-right corner and on the back, no matches. Striker side panes show a lot of wear.
    I did my best to accurately photograph the colors but they are not exact.
    Stored in a smoke-free, pet free, air conditioned home.
