This Limited edition Disney Sericel depicts a fun scene from the Walt Disney classic
"Puppy Love,"
circa 1933. Recreates a Scene f10 for the short: Like Sweethearts out of a story book, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse can't wait to see one another again---- and each brings a gift for their darling one.
BONUS:
In this scene the couple is about to exchange gifts of Flowers and Candies in the streets of Toon-town. Looks like Mickey's house in the background. The Toon-town background was created just for THIS piece, as Disney initially issued this piece with out a background. Background is included FREE to the winning bidder.
The small Edition Size is only 5000 pieces, worldwide. Cel size is 14 x 10 inches inside the matting. Frame size is 21 x 18 inches.  Cel was created by Samper Silkscreen of Los Angeles, who was hired by Walt Disney Art Classics to produce this series of sericels.

What is a sericel?
A Sericel
is a serigraphy process that involves silk-screening each individual color to the cel, one at a time. Every distinct shade is a separate screen, and a separate pass in the procedure. As a result of this fine art operation, each color is flawlessly reproduced. Sericels are also created in limited quantities, typically 2500 to 5000 pieces and sometimes even 9500. Because of their larger edition size, sericels are the most affordable type of animation art, ideal for the beginning collector. The word Sericel is a contraction of Seri-graphed Cel.
