Mr. Mouse Takes
a Trip
. It is a selected limited edition, hand-painted re-eration of original artwork created especially for Walt Disney
Company employees.
The artists of the Walt Disney Studíos Ink & Paint Department have re-created the artwork from
Mr. Mouse Takes
a Trip
using traditional ink and paint techniques. The original drawings were transferred to polyester cels by a special
six step xerographic process. Each cel in the edition was hand-painted with Disney approved acrylic colors.
The background scene for this cel has been faithfully reproduced from the original production background on premium
presentation matte paper using an Epson 4900 printer.
This re-created cel set up is based on original artwork from Sequence 72 of
Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip
animated by Kenneth Muse. After getting kicked off the train, Mickey and Pluto are happily surprised to discover
they
landed in Pomona... their destination.
This limited edition was produced in 2013 and was comprised of a general
edition
of 250, numbered 1/250 to 250/250.
