The PXI module has assembly part # 186897G-01, same module shown in photos. The module was tested in Windows XP Professional SP3 environment (control computer). This PXI-8330/MXI-3 is not specified to support Windows 7+, research application requirements prior to purchase as compatibility is not warranted. Listing is for PXI-8330 module only, nothing else is included

    The National Instruments PXI-PCI8330 interface kits give PCs direct control of PXI/CompactPCI systems via a transparent hardware and software link, using MXI-3 technology. MXI-3 technology introduces flexible extension technology for controlling PXI/CompactPCI systems from a stand-alone computer using standard PCI-to-PCI bridging technology with a high-speed serial link. The MXI-3 technology couples two physically separate PCI or PXI/CompactPCI buses with a copper data link.
