This is a listing for a 1981 Walt Disney SANTA CLAUS Postage Stamp original painting.
In tribute to the 1933 Silly Symphonies short “the Night Before Christmas,” Santa Claus brings his sleigh and reindeer down for a rooftop landing in this original full-color character cel, created during the development of a postage stamp commemorating Christmas 1981, likely issued on behalf of the island of Anguilla (a British dependent territory in the Caribbean).
It measures approximately 10” x 12” and the medium is ink on acetate and paint on illustration board with stripped-in text.
The art is in excellent condition the black frame has some small wear please check photos.
