    Description

    This silverplated match safe was made by the Pairpoint Corporation of New Bedford, Massachusetts, circa 1900-1910. It measures 2-5/8 inches tall and 1-1/2 inches wide. It is decorated on both sides by a finely detailed hunting dog (retriver) holding a duck or goose in its mouth. Its lid opens and closes properly and it is marked Pairpoint  MFG Co on the top edge of it body that is covered by the edge of its lid. It is lightly monogramed on the top of its lid. It is in used condition with signs of wear to its silverplate. I have not tried to polish it. It does have denting on its four corners, especially on the two corners of its base. I have included pictures or each of its four corners for your review. It still displays nicely and will be an excellent  addition to your collection. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
