Antique Auto Polo Collectible
“The Auto Polo Pencil Pad”
This may be the only Auto Polo collectible for sale on eBay.
These items are very rare.
Pad is old, aged, and fragile.
Measures 10” by 7.75”.
If there ever was a back cover it is gone, may have never been one.
Full of old yellowed fragile paper.
I don’t handle it any more than I have to.
Needs to be framed and put in a collection.
Very rare item for the automobile collector.
Automobile polo or Auto polo was a motorsport invented in the United States with rules and equipment similar to equestrian polo but using automobiles instead of horses. The sport was popular at fairs, exhibitions and sports venues across the United States and several areas in Europe from 1911 until the late 1920s; but it was dangerous and carried the risk of injury and death to the participants and spectators, and expensive damage to vehicles.
I have an 8x40 shipping container and 3 storage units full of junk from the last 40 years that I am trying to get rid of. I will eBay as much as possible in-between my search for a job (out of work).
The stuff I’m selling is used and has been in my storage for sometimes up to 40 plus years and will have dust, grease, dirt, and dirt dauber nests.
