Hohenfelder Pilsner is a German Pilsner style beer brewed by
Hohenfelder Privat Brauerei
in Langenberg, Germany
The brewery was founded in 1845 by the Royal Prussian official KH Lappmann on the "Hohenfelde" estate.
Lappmann hired a Franconian master brewer, Johann Dittmann.
The brewery produces under the Hohenfelder beer brand.
Since the company's 150th anniversary in 1994,
Lappmann's Dunkel
has been
brewed
according to an approximately old brewing recipe.
