Description
Up for consideration is a rare advertising collectable, a 12” plush stuffed White Elephant that was given as a 5th
place prize (less than 1,000 were given away) in a sweepstakes contest in 1968. It has bright blue eyes, pink tongue and feet, and wearing a pink plastic collar with a bell. On one side the tag reads “Made Exclusively For Dial Soap White Elephant Sweepstakes”.
On the other side the tag reads “Animal Faire, Chanhassen, Minn. Copyright 1968”.
The elephant needs a little TLC as there is a small hole in one of the feet and the white plush is a little soiled in places, but overall in good condition for a stuffed toy of this age.
