The replica is a 1:1 replica of the real Russian FORT Vant-VM ballistic shield used by Russian Special Forces such as Spetznaz, MVD VV, Vityaz, Granite, FSKN, FSIN and others.
The shield has a flap over the red distraction strip which will naturally attract all the hostile fire into where the shield is most protective, instead of your head or limbs.
The lower flap is foam filled and is designated to protect your groin and thigh (lower flap is detachable).
At the back of the shield you can attach a strap (which comes included) on it to make it easier to carry the fortress around.
It has not ballistic protection!
