Features:
The Seizmik Versa-Fold Windshield quickly converts from a full to half (folded) windshield with a quick flip of two composite levers. When folded, the top windshield is held secure with 2 heavy duty captive rubber plugs. The UV protected, durable and replaceable hinge acts as a stiffening rib to help keep the windshield from flexing.
0.220″ thick double sided scratch resistant polycarbonate
Automotive grade high deflection bulb gasket around windshield perimeter
Top folds against the bottom, nothing contacts the hood
Quickly release/secure upper windshield section with simple twist of 2 composite levers – no tools required
Top windshield held in folded position securely and easily with 2 heavy duty captive rubber plugs
UV protected transparent hinge is durable and replaceable and acts as a stiffening rib to minimize flexing

Guide To Windshield Materials
*Polycarbonate Non-Coated
Incredible shatter resistance - more than 200 times than glass.  Very soft and flexible, so it scratches easier than acrylic.  Cannot be polished or buffed, it will get cloudy.  88% Light transmission.  Very stable in temperatures up to 260 degrees.  Also commonly used in glasses, visors, bullet proof glass, Mac computers.
*Hard Coated Polycarbonate
All the benefits of regular polycarbonate, but the hard coating makes it incredibly scratch resistant.  Its pointless to coat only one side of a UTV windshield since both sides get so dirty, be wary if the hard coating doesn't specify that its on both sides.  90% light transmission.  More than 2x the cost of acrylic.  Also commonly used in race car windshields
*Acrylic
Has nearly unlimited resistance to weathering and UV, 92% light transmission, more abrasion resistant than polycarbonate, and can be polished / buffed.  Shatter resistance is up to 24 times that of laminated glass.  Lowest cost material available for UTV windshield applications.  Very stable up to 200 degrees.  Also commonly used in: helicopter windows, underwater windows, police riot gear, large public aquariums.
