    SIGNED LE 1953 Le Mans 24 Hour Race Fine Art Poster STOUT Ferrari 340MM Jaguar C
    Artist-signed and numbered fine art poster depicting a scene from the 1953 Le Mans 24 hour race. On the track, the Ferrari 340 MM Pininfarina Berlinetta that was driven by the team of Alberto Ascari and Luigi Villoresi pulls up on the tail of the Jaguar C-Type driven by Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton. The Italians failed to finish the race when the Ferrari’s clutch failed. The British duo, on the other hand, drove the C-Type to victory.
    Artist Fred H. Stout signed the piece in pencil in the bottom right corner, numbered 217/500.
    Beautifully printed on a substantial white, matte stock. Very good condition with some light marks in the top and bottom borders, some evidence of handling in the lower part of the poster.
    Poster measures approximately 22” x 30” (56cm x 84cm).
