A beautiful and most interesting antique Masonic matchsafe. It would make a great addition to your silver box collection, tobacco/smoking related collection, or Masonic or Free Masons related collection.
Condition:
The match safe is in excellent condition with no major problems. The hinged lid works great and the matchsafe has no breaks or repairs. The vesta has a few minor and shallow dings to exterior, with one most pronounced at the bottom right corner when looking at the back (see second photo). It has surface scratches, some soiling, and general wear to the exterior commensurate with the pieces age and utilitarian function. Just a great Masonic piece with a very nice logo of the Free Masons. Please see photos for additional condition information.
