    Description

    T.E. O'Keefe Metal Match-Safe with Celluloid Advertisement. A metal match-safe from T. E. O'Keefe,
Distiller of Oswego, N.Y.  The business in Oswego was a distributor of whiskey. O'Keefe actually co owned
two distilleries in Kentucky. The reverse side advertises his four main brands. The safe was made by the
Whitehead and Hoag Co. of Newark, N.J. and measures 1-1/2" tall, 1-3/4" wide, 3/8" thick. From the
information I  have the company went out of business at the being of Prohibition in 1920.  I have to
assume the Match-Safe must be 100 years old.
