Description
2 5/8ths inches tall including the pig
perched atop a decorated canine tooth, this brass plated match holder has seen
better days. One of the sides of the tooth has most of its brass plating where
the other side has almost none. The white metal side has the etched initials
W.J.C. from a previous owner. On the inner edge of the tooth is a loop to
attach a suspension ring and below that is the striker. There is very nice scroll work decorating the
top of the tooth. A good tension bar functions as it should holding the lid
open and helping it to snap shut. The pig perched on top is in good condition
and oddly, is brass plated on one side and silver colored on the other. This match holder, which weighs 0.8 of an
ounce is in good condition only. He
could use a good clean. Postage
should be around depending on where
it is going. I do not charge for packing and handling. Thank you for your interest and your bid.
