Vintage 1900 Victorian Nickel Silver on Brass Racehorse Match Holder Vesta Case

This almost 2 ½ inches long race horse head is beautifully detailed but has seen better days.  Most of the nickel plate on the brass is still present but the tension bar is missing so the lid on the back of the horse’s head does not stay closed.  The piece which holds the tension bar is present so it would not be too difficult to have a strip of metal cut to be a tension bar.  The striker on the lid is well used but still functional.  This is an original Victorian match holder, dating to 1900 or before, and not a reproduction vesta as are many of the others for sale on British eBay. It weighs ½ ounce.  Postage should be around depending on where it is going.  I do not charge for packing and handling.  Thank you for your interest and your bid.
