    Listed here is an African Maasai Olbene. This is a stiff, beaded, leather bag from East Africa, probably Kenya.
    Bag is 18" x 15" x 4" with leather strap that provides a 13"drop. Leather is not pliable. Bag was used to carry water and other goods.
    Bag shows scuffs and other evidence of wear. Beads are intact. I do see cracks.
    Item was located by family when downsizing. This item and other African folk art items we will be listing were obtained 30-40 years ago on father's trip to Africa.
