Condition: It is in a nice used condition, but there is a flea bite chip I almost missed on on side facet (see the last photo). There are also some other small imperfections that might be chips around the edge above the striker area. With all of these you have to look for them, they do not stand out. DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
Up for sale is a vintage crystal glass match holder and striker. I think it could possibly be by Joseph & Richard Griffin circa 1922. I have seen other similar ones listed and identified as such, but there are no maker marks and I can't confirm it is. It measures about 2.75” tall and about 3.25” wide from flat facets. It weighs about 656 grams.
It is in a nice used condition, but there is a flea bite chip I almost missed on on side facet (see the last photo). There are also some other small imperfections that might be chips around the edge above the striker area. With all of these you have to look for them, they do not stand out. The bottom is smooth with little to no wear. Please review the photographs and email me if you have any questions or want additional photographs.
