Vintage Match Box Advertising Austria Steam Locomotive train Zillertalbahn

Description

Vintage 1970 match box from Austria.  This is an advertising box for the Zillertalbahn railroad.  The Zillertalbahn is a tourist destination as it still runs a couple of steam engines and has a small track.  2" 5 15/16"  In 1965 this was the first train to use Zugfunk or train control radio.  The train has 32 km of track.  This box has 4 of the long matches still inside and also shows the bus that was also started in 1965. Box is 4 3/4" long and still in good shape.
