Vintage metal match stick or toothpick holder, engraved Anna Coryell Lansing

Description

This is a vintage metal match stick or toothpick holder with a floral pattern and an engraving on the bottom of it, "Anna Coryell Lansing" in cursive.
There are no identifying marks or hallmarks on the holder. It is not silver, and the abundance of scratches on the bottom that this has accumulated over the years indicate that it is a soft metal, perhaps pewter, but I cannot attest to its composition.
The "Lansing" in the engraving was not easily discerned without a loupe because of the wear.
