For sale is a vintage silk US Army sweetheart pillow sham cover which was stored away for decades in a cedar "hope" chest. This has beautiful blue and gold edging with blue frilly "tassels" all around the edging. The face of the pillow cover is adorned with four big pink Rose's with two-tone green leaves / stems and a SWEETHEART poem. The coloring is phenomenal considering these were available during the 2nd war. It is in really good condition with only one minor spot, as shown in pictures, where the thread needs repaired and it's less than a half inch. The last 2 photos are of the pillow case turned inside out to show the inside. This piece measures 17 1/2" square, not including the fringe detail. Please see pictures for details and condition.
